    Abu Dhabi: A 60-year-old patient infected with Covid-19 has been airlifted from Al Dhafra region to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) in the capital. The Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing facilitated the transfer after receiving a report about the patient, who had been admitted to Madinat Zayed Hospital in Al Dhafra at the time. His condition was critical, with the need for intensive care, and the Abu Dhabi Police immediately deployed an air ambulance and team to airlift him to SKMC. The patient was accordingly given the necessary medical attention until he was safely transported to, and admitted, at SKMC.

    Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi has updated its ‘Green List’ of countries, regions and territories, with the latest list effective from Wednesday, June 23 including 31 different places. Compared to the previous Green List effective since June 13, the new list includes Austria, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Norway, and Sweden. It leaves out Cuba, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.     Dubai: Travel agents in Dubai said they are still awaiting airline updates on flights from India to the UAE which were scheduled to reopen for fully vaccinated UAE residents today.     Abu Dhabi: The tenants of a 12-storey Abu Dhabi building that caught fire last Thursday are currently being housed across multiple safe places, including hotels and relatives’ home, Gulf News has learnt. Located close to Terminal 2, the 20,000 square-foot lab is a dedicated facility for round-the-clock processing of RT-PCR test samples collected from passengers.
